Case Study

The brief

avisso was invited to quote for a comprehensive on-site Food Hygiene and Health and Safety Audit. This consisted of a site visit followed by a full written report detailing the findings and recommendations.

Recommendations made by avisso

avisso’s experienced Senior Consultant carried out an in-depth observation of the site’s catering practices across a whole day. This was then written up into a detailed report covering the areas of:

Personal hygiene

Deliveries and storage

Cleaning and sanitising

Food production and service

Waste management and pest control

Equipment and infrastructure

The report works on a traffic light system, clearly identifying if there are any areas that need immediate attention. A dashboard graph was also produced.

Results

The client then commissioned avisso to carry out two further audits throughout the year. The reports are having a positive effect, enabling the client to measure and be confident that they are achieving compliance and taking steps to preempt problems.
